Yogscast Games and Goodviewgames have officially announced a publishing agreement for Dicealot, a dice-fueled roguelike adventure based on the medieval classic Farkle. The game is set to launch on PC later this year, with a playable demo already live on Steam as part of the Camp Yog May Sale.

Blending centuries-old dice strategy with modern roguelike design, Dicealot breathes new life into a game known by many names: Greed, Hot Dice, Dix Mille, or to Kingdom Come: Deliverance fans, simply “that dice game.” This new take on Farkle invites players into a world of luck, risk, and fast-paced tactical decision-making—all wrapped in a whimsical fantasy narrative.
A Medieval Classic Reborn
At its core, Dicealot is still about pushing your luck—throwing six dice to hit specific scoring combinations, with each successful roll tempting you to go further. Score big and bank your points, or risk it all for a chance at glory (and the possibility of losing everything). It’s a game of calculation, guts, and just the right amount of greed.

But unlike the tavern game of old, Dicealot is wrapped in a vibrant quest-driven campaign. King Arthur has fallen victim to a strange enchantment, and it’s up to Queen Gwynevere to rally his scattered knights and uncover the source of his affliction. Players will explore a troubled Camelot while fighting off foes, unlocking powerful dice, and building devastating combos.
Classic Mechanics, Modern Mayhem
Where Dicealot really shines is in its dynamic systems. The game introduces quest dice, power dice, and dozens of modifiers that allow players to break and bend traditional rules, finding inventive ways to stack bonuses and score massive point bursts.

With over 70 unique dice, 30+ enemy types, 10 weapons with special abilities, and scalable difficulty, the game offers deep tactical flexibility and near-limitless replay potential.
