Everspace is about to expand its universe with a new DLC, adding hours of content through two exciting storylines. This update will introduce fresh gameplay mechanics, along with a mix of new and familiar characters.
For those unfamiliar with the game, EVERSPACE 2 is a space shooter-looter featuring a sci-fi narrative with mature themes.
As mentioned, the DLC, Titans, includes two new story chapters: Dreadnought and Leviathan. In Dreadnought, you’ll join a team of freelancers to investigate rumors of a massive, mysterious ship—unlike anything seen before. This multi-stage boss fight is challenging and requires a well-balanced ship loadout.
Leviathan, on the other hand, dives into the stranger side of science fiction. You’ll pursue a gigantic, living creature in the Khait Nebula, but this organic ship has more surprises inside than expected. This chapter emphasizes puzzle-solving, disarming traps, and resource gathering, shifting the focus away from intense combat.
Titans will launch on September 16 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, priced at $15 / €15 / £13. Looking ahead, fans of Everspace 2 will be excited to hear that Rockfish is already working on a second, even larger expansion, set to release sometime in 2025.
As for me, I guess It’s the perfect time to start my adventure in the Universe of Everspace 2.
