Legacy: Steel & Sorcery invites players into a perilous fantasy world filled with loot and lurking dangers, but not in the form of an MMO—a departure from where its developers first made their mark. Instead, this extraction-based experience draws heavily from the classic MMO raid formula, but with a greater emphasis on action-packed gameplay. Players must band together to battle both AI enemies and rival raiding parties, scavenging whatever treasures they can from the rich and immersive world.

As the game continues to evolve, Notorious Studios is preparing a significant Summer update, introducing not just new content but also crucial balance adjustments. Among the exciting additions is the highly anticipated Wizard class, bringing a new layer of magical mayhem to the battlefield. But that’s not all—players can also look forward to:
- New Map: Dungeon – A smaller, more confined environment packed with high-risk, high-reward encounters and superior loot.
- Goblin Pawn Shop – Lost your gear? The Goblins may have scavenged it and are willing to sell it back—for a price.
- New Social Space – Queue up solo or with a squad in Goldbrook, test out weapons on dummies, or challenge others in the dueling area.
- More Progression – New Lodge modules, including the Transmutation Device, which allows item transformation, and the Critter Habitat, where players can store their critters to generate unique resources.
Alongside these content drops, the update aims to refine combat balance. Ranged attackers, initially struggling against their dominant melee counterparts, will receive buffs to make encounters more dynamic. Additional bug fixes are also on the way, ensuring smoother gameplay as the title moves toward its next phase.
